Interesting sites: Essembly

While Facebook, MySpace and LinkedIn are enjoying success, Essembly is a social networking site centered on politics. Instead of just “connecting” to people, you answer a series of questions to see with whom you align ideologically, and then you can…well…”friend” them.

I think this will be a hit with people who use the Internet a lot for political purposes — but it should have more connections to blogs, means of fundraising, MeetUps, etc. Overall, I think it’s a good start.
