The People tab is where you go to see who's in your group, invite new people, sort them into smaller groups, see profiles and edit permissions for your members.

For each profile you can see as much information as you allow — that includes everything from physical addresses to email addresses to IM and Skype names.

If you have AIM and are browsing a profile that has an IM screen name in it, Groupvine will even tell you if that person is online by showing an illuminated running AOL man.

You can fill out your personal profile, which will be seen across all groups in which you're a member.

We recommend you fill out as much information as possible so your colleagues and friends can get in contact with you. It adds more value to the whole Groupvine experience.

When you're a "president" of a group, you can determine who has what sorts of privileges to keep your information secure.

This is, of course, after you invite all your friends and colleagues to use Groupvine!
